Christmas Vignette

We decided to go with the small tree this year, since no one would be home for Christmas, but I still had to decorate. The tree and fireplace are decorated with mercury glass- reproductions from Target, the real deal is rather expensive! Our tree skirt is just a yard of silk fabric from Joann's that we draped around the tree. We also used some vintage mercury glass beads that we strung around the tree- from the Alameda Flea Market (next Sunday). We had the silver trays and the crystal around the house and the Happy Holidays sign and German Silver Trees are from Room With a Past.

And of course I had to Santa-fi our barracks room in Japan! I bought a fiber optic tree, which changes color and some lights and tried to transform our room- on guy did say it looked like Christmas exploded in our room- just what I was going for!!
